











The poster created to exhibit my final project at Type & Media began – like the typeface itself – as a reference to 19th century wood-type posters. Carrying on the advertising tradition of this medium, my poster presents a fake personal ad created entirely from real statements found on the New York Times and Craigslist personals sites. This offered a humorous yet appropriate way to showcase a project that had drawn so much from early advertising traditions.
