For its 27th year, the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival once again looked to Noon Design, an acclaimed San Francisco design studio, to create the identity and supporting materials for the festival. As a lead designer on the project, I worked closely with the client to uncover and articulate the spirit of the 2009 festival. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, the layout and composition were designed around the unique constraints of each piece. The final campaign took shape across bus ads, rapid transportation (BART) banners, posters, postcards, website, event catalogues, t-shirts, newspaper templates, etc.
